U.S. Licensing Simplification, and Impacts to the Quarterly Operating Certificates

Effective 1 July 2018, Visa will streamline its licensing structure and simplify the fees associated with licensing in the United States only. In conjunction with this, effective for the October 2018 Visa Quarterly Operating Certificate, Visa will revise its reporting by consolidating the Visa, Plus and Interlink operating certificates.  

Under the new licensing structure, Participant clients will become Associates. Clients that sponsor Associates will need to report all sponsored Visa, Plus and Interlink activity in the operating certificate tool at Visa Online. This 15-minute, on-demand course will help clients prepare.
